Heart Attack

Dad had a couple of heart attacks this past week. Apparently he had one on Saturday and didn't bother to tell anyone until Sunday. And I took him to his apointment at the VA on Monday and he had another one there. They trasferred him over to Sparks and did emergency bypass surgery on him Tuesday morning. He is pulling through though. He's tough, gotta give him that. He is finally off the ventilator and he is talking and writing some and is in good spirits, so that is good. Well that's it, I am going to try and get some sleep and then take a shower before anyone else and jet up to the hospital to see dad.

Finals

OK, so finals week is finaly over. I didn't make ou too bad. Considering I had surgery in the middle of the semster and was gone for 3 weeks I think I did pretty damn well. I cam out with an A in Medical Terminology, B's in Psycholoy and Sociology, and (*sigh*) a C in anatomy. My abcences brought me down. I am really disappointed in myself. But that still isn't bad for  missing 3 straght weeks of school.  Go Me!
